A new gift and home décor shop built on a decade of retail experience and a love of creative design is coming to Foothills Mall.

Two Sisters Trading Co. is set to open July 1 next door to Bath & Body Works, the first brick-and-mortar venture for sibling co-owners Heather Raines and Wendy Giguere, who have sold home goods and DIY supplies through an Etsy store and as a vendor at Gentry Mercantile for more than 10 years.

They are  opening the roughly 3,000-square-foot store along with their mother, Sheila Morton, 93, who plans to be a regular presence behind the counter.

Raines said they looked carefully at other stores in the mall to make sure they weren’t directly competing on products, so the store’s product mix is deliberately broad. Shoppers will find home décor, women’s and men’s apparel, Smoky Mountain souvenirs, kitchen goods, religious items, and a children’s craft section stocked with pan-bead kits and 3D-printed items produced on-site.

Two Sisters Trading Co. is also an Elite Plus Terra retailer for Dixie Belle Paint, carrying the brand’s full chalk, silk and clay paint lines alongside Redesign with Prima transfers, molds and decoupage papers — a product category she said customers have long asked to browse in person.  The store will also carry the Puppy Love, Kittie Kittie and Southern Attitude apparel brands.

Raines said she envisions adding paint demonstrations and workshops after opening.

A grand opening celebration is planned for July 1.
